Positions

In November 2001 you elected me to serve you in the Alaska House of Representatives.  It has been an honor to be your Mat-Su representative and I eagerly look forward to serving you once again.  I enjoy receiving your input because by working together we can positively impact Alaska.  Here are my priorities:

• Build the Alaska Gas Pipeline
• Create good paying jobs by responsibly utilizing our abundant resources
• Defend our 2nd amendment rights
• Preserve traditional family values
• Provide accessible services for our seniors
• Continue support for quality education

A vote for Gatto gives you a person who will spend the time needed to understand the complexities of gas line development.  I will continue my work to protect valley farming, to help our seniors, and to protect our salmon stocks for both sport and commercial use.  The balance between development and protection of our resources is one of the most pressing issues facing our citizens.  I pledge to use my experience to find the balance.

In my 26 years as a paramedic/firefighter, I have logged 25,000 responses to individuals who called for help.  Serving citizens is my life’s profession and calling.  I have a broad knowledge base for decision-making with several university degrees and job experience in the both the private and public sectors and have the necessary common sense and integrity to make wise choices with your input.
